GENERAL NATURE OF WORK
This is responsible administrative, supervisory, and technical work in operating an animal services agency with an emphasis on strong leadership and personnel management. An employee in this class is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, problem solving and supervising the activities of the animal shelter along with enforcing county animal ordinances and State laws. Duties are performed under limited supervision. Reports to the County Administrator.
