Role Description
This is a contract and remote role for a Court Security Officer. The Court Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment in courtrooms and other areas of the court facilities. Day-to-day tasks include screening individuals entering the courthouse, monitoring surveillance systems, controlling access to restricted areas, and ensuring the safety of court personnel and visitors. The officer will also be responsible for responding to emergencies and providing security escorts for judges and other court officials as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures
- Strong observational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Eligibility to work as a remote employee
