Kentro is hiring for an IT Analyst to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Prioritize user requirements, initiate and oversee system upgrades, evaluate existing and research new tools. Work with management to make recommendations and identify the goals necessary to improve customer productivity, security, and output. Set up and configure various servers and workstations. Support and manage cloud-based services. Troubleshoot and fix computer problems. Conduct and maintain IT test environments. Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions for end users and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize user requirements, initiate and oversee system upgrades, evaluate existing and research new tools.
- Work with management to make recommendations and identify the goals necessary to improve customer productivity, security, and output.
- Set up and configure various servers and workstations.
- Support and manage cloud-based services. Troubleshoot and fix computer problems.
- Design, analyze, and implement efficient IT systems within clear environments.
- Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions for end users and customers.
- Understand business and technology needs. Leverage technical solutions to meet organizational needs. Implement functional and cost-efficient IT systems.
- Gather feedback from end users about system performance.
- Develop and analyze functional specifications.
- Plan and oversee projects (e.g., upgrades, hardware/software installations).
- Coordinate developers to build and implement technology solutions.
- Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams.
