Amazon Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, making them an essential part of our logistics operations.

We're an Amazon Hub Delivery Partner; each day you will receive a schedule with the times the truck will run to deliver the packages to the store. Once packages are received from the Amazon truck the driver will then sort, label, and scan the packages into the Amazon Flex app. Once completed the driver will then utilize the app and follow the route to deliver all packages. Once deliveries are done the driver will then return to the store with any packages that may not have been delivered that day.

Driver will utilize their own vehicle. Must have a minimum of Liability insurance on vehicle. Amazon provides full coverage insurance while signed on the Amazon Flex app and actively making deliveries.

Driver must provide their own smartphone such as a iphone or Android device.

We're looking for someone who would like flexible hours and who could work a minimum of 2 days per week with additional opportunities throughout the week.

Pay

The pay will be per package delivered. You will receive $1.25 per package successfully delivered. Paid out every week.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles.
• Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage.
• Utilize equipment such as dollies and industrial carts when necessary for efficient loading and unloading.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries utilizing an app on your phone. (Amazon Flex App).
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Report any vehicle issues or delivery problems to management promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a delivery or courier role is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is beneficial.

Pay: $7.50 - $25.00 per hour
