Kentucky Country Day School (KCD) has an opening for a Middle School Physical Education teacher for the 2025–26 school year. The ideal candidate embraces middle school education and has experience teaching physical education in an engaging and innovative manner. The position requires energy, optimism, a desire to learn and improve, and a passion for teaching middle school students.
The ideal candidate will coach one varsity sport or two non-varsity athletic seasons over the school year. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of physical education current and best practices as well as middle school experience. This teacher will also serve as a student grade level advisor and will be a vital member of the middle school team.

The priorities for the middle school include forging positive relationships with students and colleagues; crafting an optimistic and positive school culture; practicing shared learning and shared growth; and strengthening our team by capitalizing on teamwork. Experience teaching in long blocks, and crafting student-centered lessons that promote student engagement are vital to this position.
