What are the responsibilities and job description for the US Physics Teacher position at Kentucky Country Day School?
Kentucky Country Day School is seeking a physics teacher in its upper school for the 2025–26 school year.

- Teach 5 sections of classes. These will be advanced and AP Physics C classes. Most likely will be required to teach two math classes as well.
- Work with a diverse student body. This work includes providing academic support for students as well as employing a variety of student-centered teaching styles to engage students and develop enduring skills: creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication.
- Serve as an advisor to 10-12 students.
- Active participation in the school community which includes activities and events such as student and faculty retreats, admissions open house, club advising, chaperoning dances, general engagement with student life, etc.
- Bachelors degree in science.
- Minimum of three years of teaching physics in a high school setting.
