What are the responsibilities and job description for the Firearm Associate position at Kentucky Gun Co?
Position responsibilities:
Provide the best customer service all around.
Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and leave the store.
Assist customers with firearms, accessories, bows/crossbows, hunting supplies, apparel, and accessories.
Answer customer questions about product features, benefits, availability, and pricing.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to firearm sales.
Assist in achieving store appearance, perform general cleaning duties and stock inventory and display to maximize visibility and sales.
Will have to work Saturdays and some holidays.
Knowledge and Skills:
Must be computer savvy with POS systems; must know how to type, use Microsoft office proficiently, and be willing to learn new programs.
Must be able to multi-task, VERY Important.
Must be able to provide prompt and courteous customer service in person.
Must be a self-starter and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Must be 21 or older and able to lift 30 lbs.
Clean background, background check will be done.
Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent
