Responsibilities
- Assist Area Managers in providing creative leadership in the development, implementation, and monitoring of assigned foods locations, host advocacy, and development.
- Lead, mentor, engage, and develop teams to maximize their contributions, including assessing, coaching, and managing performance.
- Help in the successful and profitable operation of multiple assigned locations, including revenue driving and expense management by maintaining location budgeted inventory, labor, and operating expenses.
- Operate locations with efficient use of labor and resources, addressing any issues immediately.
- Ensure Unit Supervisors delegate and properly document breaks.
- Maintain adequate staffing per outlined staffing standards.
- Follow and enforce safe food handling protocols throughout the flow of food.
- Ensure daily stand inspection sheet is completed by Unit Supervisor.
- Ensure location cleanliness exceeds health inspection standards with an “A” rating.
- Ensure locations meet or exceed Steritech goal.
- Ensure front line hosts apply suggestive selling, upselling, and merchandising techniques.
- Maintain department equipment in proper working condition (radios, clipboards, etc.).
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of department paperwork.
- Work directly with Unit Supervisors to monitor guest satisfaction through efficiency and guest interaction.
- Maintain uniform and grooming standards and always carry necessary equipment.
- Conduct weekly inventory.
- Conduct disciplinary and corrective action, as necessary.
- Delegate tasks to leadership and ensure completion.
- Ensure stands are opened and closed at correct times while also completing tasks in respective SOPs.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years old.
- Positive attitude with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously with hosts and guests.
- Effective decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work alongside hosts to ensure quality of performance.
- Ability to maintain a high standard of safety, guest service, and cleanliness, and hold Hosts accountable to this same standard.
- Ability to perform all responsibilities outlined in supervisor job description.
- Completion of department required training.
- Completion of TIPS training (where applicable).
- Experience in amusement park operations, revenue management preferred.
- Flexible availability, with the ability to work up to 40 hours per week including days, evenings, weekends, holidays and after school.
- Ability to participate in all training sessions.
- Working knowledge of all departmental and park-wide policies.
