Overview
KORT is Kentucky's premier provider of outpatient physical and occupational therapy specializing in orthopedics, sports and industrial medicine. Since 1987, KORT has provided clinical and customer service excellence to patients in our clinics, at employer sites, and with high school, college, and professional sports teams.
This role will float between our Southern Indiana and Lousiville, KY Markets! This role is open to PRN applications.
Compensation starting at $40.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, muscle, nerve, joint and bone disorders or diagnoses to restore function, relieve pain and prevent disability. The Physical Therapist makes independent judgments regarding patient care and incorporates procedures into a workable treatment program without supervision. Also, he/she maintains communication with physicians, staff and general public, supervise PTA’s, technicians, students, and office staff; direct, participate in and present continuing education programs; and assume administrative/supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the clinic director. Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
This position requires a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an APTA accredited university
Professional Licensure in the State of Indiana and Kentucky.
Outpatient clinical rotation in lieu of outpatient experience
CPR certification is mandatory
