Description
The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), Office of Career & Technical Education (OCTE), Trailblazer EarlyCollege & Career Academy / Harrodsburg Area Technology Center (ATC) in Harrodsburg, KY has an opening for anElectrical Technology Instructor.
This position is advertised as part of KRS Chapter 156 OCTE for employment through the Office of Career andTechnical Education. It is not subject to the provisions of KRS 18A for classified or unclassified service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Teaches occupational preparatory classes within a career and technical education program.
- Performs other duties as required.
In accordance with KRS 161.220 the applicant selected for this position will become a member of the Teachers'Retirement System.
Applicants and employees in this classification may be required to submit to a drug screening test andbackground check.
Salary dependent upon qualifications, training, and experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.) : Must be able to acquire the personal national certifications applicable to the programarea (NCCER, etc.). Applicant can be hired without the needed personal (NCCER) certification but must acquirethe needed certification at the next available testing period.
