What are the responsibilities and job description for the Researcher position at Kentucky Process Service, Inc.?
We are a privately owned company hiring in Hopkinsville, Kentucky for a Court Researcher. This position entails transcribing data from certain case files located at the Circuit Court Clerk office. We will train for this position but prefer applicants with prior experience or knowledge of court records. Applicants must have basic computer knowledge, accurate typing skills, excellent organization, and be self-motivated. This job is performed at the courthouse using their public computer terminal and is not a work from home position.
The hours are part time and best suited for those seeking supplemental income. Please do not apply if you are working full time or if you are seeking full-time employment. The days and hours are flexible as you set your own schedule and work independently. Most of our researchers average 15 hours per week working 2 to 3 days.
Our researchers, who average $30 to $35 per hour, are independent contractors and we do not offer benefits.
