The Kentucky River Area Development District, an eight -county planning and development agency, is accepting applications for a Regional Disaster Coordinator. This position, under the supervision of the Associate Director of Community & Economic Development, will serve to increase community resilience through all phases of a disaster cycle. Will assist with planning, implementation, and procurement of funding for projects related to disaster and emergency assistance and public safety.

General Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in closely related field required, with directly related work experience in a non-profit or government organization preferred.
- Applicants must have good working knowledge of computers and software applications, possess good written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, the public, and elected officials.
