WHAT YOU’LL DO

As the Director, Application and System Development, you will :
- Define and implement the enterprise application and system development strategy in alignment with business objectives and digital transformation goals.
- Lead the design and development of system architecture that supports business growth and operational efficiency.
- Ensure seamless integration between enterprise applications / systems, databases, and third-party platforms.
- Maintain a comprehensive system architecture plan to ensure current and future system scalability.
- Establish and maintain best practices in software development, ensuring that applications and systems are reliable, secure, and meet performance benchmarks.
- Implement quality assurance protocols, including automated testing, code reviews, and performance monitoring.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, consultants, and service providers.
- Ensure the continuous improvement of existing applications, driving enhancements and new features to support operational needs.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and development tools that can add value to the organization.
- Work closely with the Director, Custom System Development and Online Services to ensure that the custom systems and enterprise applications / systems are seamlessly integrated with the proper data and workflow.
