What are the responsibilities and job description for the Membership Assistant position at Kentucky Society of CPAs?
Position Description: The Membership Assistant represents KyCPA to members & provides customer service for membership services. This person will assist the Membership Director with job responsibilities needed.
Objective: The Membership Assistant fulfills any member services needs of KyCPA members by answering all phone calls and emails in a timely manner. They will also assist with any questions and registrations as well as give members guidance on how to utilize the website and online registration and join process.
Membership Responsibilities:
· Database management such as:
o Merging membership accounts
o Managing client referrals
o Converting membership types upon termination
o Pulls reports as needed
· Send new member certificates & 25/40-year lapel pins as needed.
· Manage 100% Champion program.
· Communicate with firm administrators.
· Assist with dues billing.
o Entering firm updates in the system
o Sends firm billing invoices
o Processes dues payments in the database
· Assist with membership events and registrations including making phone calls to collect payments.
· Conducts research such as checking LinkedIn for a member’s new employer.
May assist with other departmental tasks as needed.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
