What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farm Hand position at Kentucky Trophy Deer?
Farm hand needed. Hours start at 7 am and vary through out the season.
Duties include:Feeding and watering animals. Operating and maintaining farm equipment, including vehicles and machinery. power tools such as mowers, tractors and weed eaters.
Grooming livestock and maintaining their health.Cleaning and disinfecting animal living areas, including hutches, cages and pens. Spraying fertilizers and pesticides on crops to help encourage growth and prevent damage from weeds, fungi and insects.Constructing and maintaining fences and barriers.
Applicants must have: Attention to detail.
Physical strength and stamina.
Technical skills for maintenance.
Ability to operate machinery.
Interpersonal skills.
Communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
