What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at Kentucky Underground Storage, Inc.?
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct sales activities with target, current and prospective customers.
- Identify prospective clients by using business directories, developing online information, following leads from existing clients and contacting similar businesses where we have had success.
- Identify decision-makers amongst targeted leads.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and maintain sale reports.
- Cultivate relationships with customers through trust, reliability, and responsive service that directly addresses customer needs.
- Work closely with sales and operations to prepare marketing and promotional materials, including but not limited to service catalogs, email notices and electronic ads.
- Assist with Request for Proposals (RFPs) when necessary.
- Monitor market conditions, product and service innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Expertise/Knowledge
- Background in IT (Information Technology) or related field
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks, attention to details and manage multiple projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with prospects and customers
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and resolution abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to engage one on one, or remotely.
- Ability to perform in a team environment with minimum supervision
- Ability to adjust to changing priorities and workload and consistently meet deadlines
Qualifying Standards
Minimum of an associate’s degree in a related field; or equivalent of 5 years experience in like sales. Individual must be able to demonstrate good organizational and communication skills.
