This position performs and/or provides technical oversight related to coal yard and/or material handling systems and equipment operations activities. Responsibilities include scheduling, planning, and assigning work for coal yard operators.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritizes, plans, assigns, and coordinates the work of coal yard and/or material handling operators.
- Provides technical direction, oversight, and resource allocations for work activities related to power plant coal yard equipment and systems.
- Ensures that all work activities are performed safely and in compliance with company policies, procedures, and uniform work rules.
- Communicates and coordinates work schedules with other departments.
- Maintains and records employee work hours and cost allocations for payroll and budgeting purposes.
- Provides training and employee development opportunities for assigned technicians.
- Conducts job briefings and safety toolbox meetings as applicable for each job assignment.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
- 8 years power plant coal yard and/or material handling technical operations experience
- DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Required
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in performance of coal yard work activities.
- Knowledge of established safety procedures and power plant coal yard systems/equipment.
- Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
