Kentwood Real Estate is hiring for a Designated Broker to fill our Denver, CO office. This position provides oversight, guidance, and training to branch management and sales associates and is responsible for maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies relating to real estate contracts. Oversee company’s transaction records and agent licensing. The position also provides risk management services in connection with consumer disputes.

- Develop, update and present continuing education training and companywide classes related to real estate contracts and risk management.
- Prepare newsletter articles and other communications related to real estate practices and risk reduction issues.
- Develop, plan and conduct branch level “Hot Topic” broker presentations to assist in the training and retention of experienced agents.
- In collaboration with general counsel, review, revise and update processes and forms to ensure state, federal and company risk management requirements are met.
- In collaboration with quality assurance and branch management oversee and provide guidance to management and staff in the maintenance of transaction files and record keeping systems to ensure compliance with state, federal and company requirements:
- Review sales files to ensure that they meet state requirements and to prepare for general audits.
- Work with branch management and staff to develop and provide detailed guidance in the use of the electronic record keeping system.
- Conduct quarterly meetings with branches for input on contract review best practices.
- Assist managers and agents in resolution of consumer related disputes and complaints.
- Oversee administration of sales associates licensing compliance and renewals. Develop and present or supervise the training of management and sales on state regulations, NAR, and Code of Ethics to ensure compliance.
- Represent company at state and local professional organizations and on task forces as requested by senior management.
- Assist senior management with written communications relating to Company culture and agent recognition.
- Complete special projects and assignments as requested by Company’s senior management.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- 5 years comprehensive real estate experience, including sales, training and management.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of real estate management and the Company’s business processes.
- Strong consumer and public relations skills.
- Ability to assess training needs and develop training programs to meet those needs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects.
- Demonstration of advanced technical knowledge,
Other (licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel, etc.):
- Valid real estate and broker’s license with continuing education credits in real estate and management.
Wage: $100,000 - $130,000 annually; actual wage is based upon education and experience.
