This role is based in Summit, NJ but there may be a period of time during the transition that you must report to Skillman, NJ. Travel % : 10% Pay : $119,000 - $205,850 What you will do The Senior Finance Manager - T&D Finance - Compliance and Process will coordinate financial control and audit engagements, acting as the main point of contact between T&D Finance, Strategy & Operations, Controllership, GA&A and External Auditors, driving enhanced financials, ultimately strengthening the organization's financial integrity and sustaining optimized processes. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain high standards of financial compliance is essential for success in this position. Key Responsibilities Financial Controls Coordination and Engagement
- Lead quarterly audit engagements, collaborating with S&O partners, T&D Finance, and Controllership teams.
- Define roles and responsibilities, align calendars, provide trainings and coordinate deliverables, ensuring completeness of Software Capitalization financial controls.
- Act as the primary point of contact for close calls, communicating updates, addressing changes, and ensuring deliverables are met. Process Improvement and Efficiency
- Collaborate with S&O, Automation teams, and T&D Finance to identify and implement process improvements.
- Partner with FinOps, Controllership, and S&O to establish processes for tracking and managing new Capital assets. Monitoring and Compliance Controls
- Co-lead quarterly Software Capitalization monitoring control process
- Coordinate monitoring control processes across T&D Finance and T&D Business partners, providing guidance while maintaining high standards.
- Partner with Controllership to refine monitoring control procedures and ensure accurate documentation and assessments. Engagements with Internal and External Auditors
- Act as a liaison with PwC and GAA to support monitoring and transactional control assessments.
- Coordinate timelines and ensure alignment between external audit engagements and the T&D organization.
- Maintain a centralized repository for documentation, including journal entries, backup support, and labor capitalization files. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the central POC for process-related inquiries, redirecting business-specific questions to appropriate stakeholders.
- Build partnerships with Supply Chain Finance, Enterprise Programs Finance, and Regional Controllers to ensure consistency and compliance across processes. What we are looking for Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required with a preference in Finance or Accounting
- A minimum of 8 years of finance or accounting is required.
- The ability to effectively take on leadership roles in various functions is required.
- Excellent analytical (MS Excel) and presentation (PowerPoint), as well as conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills required.
- The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required.
- Strong background in business partnering and project management, ability to work well in a dynamic environment and recommend and implement operational improvements, work independently and handle several tasks simultaneously required Desired Qualifications
- A MBA and / or CPA, CMA, are preferred.
- Prior FP&A experience is preferred. What's In It For You
- Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $119,000 to $205,850.This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
