P ay- $182,000 - $247,000 (in the US)

What You Will Do

The Director of Data Migration is responsible for shaping and implementing the platform data strategy. This individual will collaborate with S/4 workstream leaders on a strategic data design and lead the execution activities associated with data requirements, data extraction, data analysis, conversion routine development, and data load execution within S/4 environments. This role will partner with various data management and operations teams to ensure robust definition and implementation of accurate data standards to improve business processes in support of long term sustainable data quality processes and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Strategy- Shape the program (ERP) data strategy on foundational data decisions for the Kenvue ERP Transformation. Collaborate with partners and workstream leads to design data solutions (object & attribute scope, data standards, number ranges, hierarchies, etc) that are efficient, scalable, and aligned with process framework. Handle flawless integration points where data threads intersect across organization teams, systems, and processes.
• Release Deployment- Develop data migration release plans and lead extended team in execution according to schedule, sequence, and quality standards. Own the data loading activities in the S/4 Production system.
• Data Conversion & Migration- Enable the program data strategy for the Kenvue ERP Transformation project to drive key project work related to data conversion and migration. Work closely with the project team, systems integrator, and data SMEs to translate S/4 program requirements into globally aligned data sets that are complete for loading by profiling, curating, harmonizing, and constructing the vital data. Use the data migration platform and tools to load the prepared data into the respective S/4 system.
• Testing, Validation, and Mock Cutover Over- Partnering with each functional work stream, perform iterative cycles to load, test, validate data in each system environment to support prototype, build, and test activities. Prepare for the Go Live Cutover by performing several mock cutover cycles to refine sequence, duration, and proactively address potential failure points.
• People Management- Lead a team consisting of Kenvue full time employees, staff augmentation contractors, and systems integrator resources to deliver key project milestones on time, on budget, and with right first time quality.
• Data Platform & Skill Development- Develop the skills to be an internal technical and data domain expert in the areas of S/4 data objects and associated data management platforms. Continuously advance capability and efficiencies of execution with each incremental S/4 release.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering at a minimum.
• 15 years of experience in Supply Chain, Finance, IT or relevant field
• ERP project or platform support experience on 1 ERP implementation projects
• Data Conversion Work Stream or Release Lead Experience on ERP deployments with People Management (Employees) or Team Lead Experience (Contractors)
• Capable to run project work across several concurrent regional & system releases while delivering results on time, on budget, with high quality
• Versed in core SAP ERP processes and underlying data objects covering 3 data domain across Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain
• Hands on experience with SAP Data Migration Tools (e.g. SAP Data Services, ABAP Data Flows, SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, etc)
• Understanding of data frameworks across Enterprise Master Data, Functional Master Data, Transactional Data and familiarity with data management concepts- profiling, curation, construction, harmonization, conversion, quality
• Collaborative worker with excellent partnership skills, with ability to communicate at level above & below on strategic & tactical topics
• Experience working in a validated environment with formalized SDLC
• Experience with, or technical curiosity to learn data tools (e.g. Informatica, SAP MDG, Syniti, Winshuttle, SQL, XLS, etc

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $182,000 - $247,000 .This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
