Role reports to : Inventory Control Manager
Location : Kenvue is currently in the process of moving it's Global Headquarters from Skillman, NJ to Summit, NJ. This role is based in Summit, NJ but there may be a period of time during the transition that you must report to Skillman.
Pay : $73,000.00 - $117,300.00
What you will do
This individual will be responsible for leading inbound (IB) process improvement projects between our suppliers, our internal partners, and 3PL Distribution Centers. Through data analysis as well as on-site work with the Distribution Center (DC) associates, they will identify process gaps and cost improvement opportunities focusing on adherence to Inbound Standards by our various manufacturing partners. In addition, this role will be directly responsible for ensuring the timely turn-around of resolution on inbounds when issues arise and collaborating with Supply Chain partners to identify and remove obstacles. This individual will partner cross-functionally to ensure timely and efficient flow of materials into the DC's by performing inventory transactions in SAP. This position will support Outbound process as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and participate in projects associated with improving the shipping and receiving processes from our vendors to our DCs.
- Understand the shipping and IB process as SAP subject matter expert (SME) to identify process and cost improvements and, when approved, manage the overall project. Identify process improvements and lead the projects to implement these improvements.
- Resolve ASN holds, ASN iDOC or CMT errors in SAP.
- Act as single point of contact between Supply Chain partners and DC's for assigned suppliers in resolving issues when needed.
- Facilitate hot IB shipments within DC network in support of customer programs / orders.
- Collaborate with Planners, IT, DC's, Suppliers, Contractors, Finance, and / or Trade Customization as needed.
- Manage compliance to activities as defined by the Inbound Standards SOP.
- Support Outbound process as needed.
