Field Service Technician

Qualifications:
- Degree or Certification from an accredited post-secondary School plus 2 years of related experience and/or training.
- OEM Certifications Preferred
- Must obtain a Valid Driver's License and have the ability to pass our insurance requirements
- Must have the ability to work an "On-Call" schedule
- Must own most basic tools and some specialty tool
Job Duties:
- Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnoses the cause of most malfunctions and perform repairs according to OEM guidelines.
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.
- Save and tag parts for warranty purposes or at the customer's request.
- Examine assigned vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is needed or recommended.

Communicate with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if outlined work is not required, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised
time. - Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
- Supervise the work of any assigned apprentice technicians.
- Report machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Maintain and be accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
- Operate all tools and equipment safely.
- Attend and complete all assigned company training.
- Maintain and efficiency of 90% or higher
- Perform other duties as assigned
