Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED RequiredOne (1) to two (2) years of relevant experience or education preferredExcellent communication skills requiredJob Duties :
Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient mannerInforms customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product lineAnswers phone calls, providing price quotes and other informationProvides high level of service to internal and external customersPulls and fills orders from stockNotifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attentionLocates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order if necessaryFollows up on back-ordered partsVerifies will-call and back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or requiredReplenishes assigned inventory dailyAssists outside sales representatives with their ordersEnsures that all charge sales are signed by the customerEnsures that all customers receive their copy of the invoiceIssues credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verifiedSets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-upSolicits assigned accounts by phoneKeeps front and rear counter areas clean and unclutteredParticipates in company required trainingKeeps current on new products and product updatesParticipates with the manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking programMaintains a professional appearanceOther duties as assignedEEO Statement :
