JOB SUMMARY
Kenworth Sales Company is looking for a dedicated Network Administrator that is reliable, flexible, and knowledgeable in a fast-paced environment. This position will require the successful candidate to have a strong networking background, understanding of industry standards, network architecture and exceptional troubleshooting skills. Individual must be available to respond on-call as assigned, including evenings and weekends. Work hours for this position will vary due to scheduled maintenance windows and response to service outages.
As a Network Administrator, the expectation will be to provide network services support to all locations, deploy new networks and network hardware, maintain and upgrade existing networks, and document all networks in place to further aid in issue resolution.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in network design and implementation.
- Provide network support to users.
- Monitor network to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations.
- Install and configure network equipment (Switches, Routers, VoIP Devices, etc).
- Develop and monitor policies for the user of network resources.
- Evaluate and deploy security improvements and system upgrades.
- Create and maintain technical support KB articles for networks and networked devices.
- After training, will be part of an on-call rotation for production level systems and user support.
- Other duties as assigned
