JOB SUMMARY
The primary function of the Parts Manager is the supervision of the day to day operations of the Parts Department including parts sales, both internally and externally, inventory control, merchandising, training, and supervision. The Parts Manager reviews and analyzes performance and takes corrective action if necessary. The Parts Manager works closely with other department managers to support customers, and achieve company goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Graduate
- Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions
- 5 years heavy duty parts experience in a dealership supervisory role
- Working knowledge of Diesel trucks and their components
- Excellent communication skills
- Follow through and attention to detail
- Great attitude and team leader
- Excellent computer skills
WORKING CONDITIONS
This is a physically demanding position, may require lifting of 50 lbs. or more with assistance. It will involve sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, feeling and handling. Position will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, paint, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. This position may include evening and weekend shifts.
