JOB SUMMARY
The primary function of the Warranty Administration Clerk : processing all warranty claims to Kenworth Truck, Paccar, Caterpillar, Cummins and / or any other Vendor affiliated with Kenworth Sales
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains working relationship with all manufacturers and / or distributors of warranted trucks, parts and services :
Maintains working understanding of all warranty policies and procedures of such vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
High school diploma or the equivalent.
Some knowledge of heavy truck automotive parts, including engines.
Two years experience in general office position.
Ability to use computer systems, ten-key calculator, microfiche and read vendor catalogs.
Excellent organization and communication skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position involves both sedentary and other work. For part of the shift, she / he will work at a desk in an office setting, doing paperwork, filing and key entry on a Video Display Terminal. Part of the shift she / he will climb stairs, climb in and out of vehicles, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch and reach, moving about the Dealership to communicate with managers, employees and customers. Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes and a variety of other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Must be able to lift 35 pounds unassisted on a regular basis.
