What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visiting Assistant Professor / Microbiology position at Kenyon College?
Kenyon College invites applications for a two-year visiting position in the Department of Biology starting in July 2024. We seek a broadly trained biologist who can contribute to teaching and student mentoring in the introductory curriculum and in upper-level courses in the area of Microbiology. Teaching expectations are five courses per year (labs count as courses), including introductory lecture and / or laboratory courses as well as Microbiology and other existing courses (e.g. Cell Biology) or new courses at the upper level. The department has a strong commitment to faculty mentoring and to helping visitors achieve their career goals. Opportunities exist for collaborative research with students.
