We are looking for a hardworking individual to join our Team in a laid back, yet highly productive environment at our location in Clinton, CT. This position is responsible for the receipt of all purchased goods, stockroom management, and cycle counting.
OVERVIEW: Receives product, manages stocking locations and maintains department cleanliness.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives product deliveries, ensuring order accuracy.
- Enters packing slips into ERP system.
- Moves shipments into appropriate locations for stocking or back-stock, keeping pathways clear.
- Maintains good housekeeping in the receiving bay area by disposing garbage/clutter to dumpster daily.
- Stocks, labels, and organizes product as needed according to department procedure.
- Assists in other departments to meet business needs.
- COMMUNICATION
- Communicates openly and honestly with all others in the Company.
- Communicates respectfully at all times. Resolves conflicts respectfully and in a timely manner, asks for assistance from appropriate supervisor as needed.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- MUST BE DETAIL ORIENTATED.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. - mandatory.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as packing slips, purchase orders and department manuals.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to prioritize work tasks, multi-task, and maintain focus.
- Class 1,4,5 fork lift experience highly preferred; Company will provide certification for the right individual.
