What are the responsibilities and job description for the 8th Grade Math Teacher position at Keokuk Community School District?
The Keokuk Community School District is looking for a highly motivated teaching professional responsible for developing the intellectual, social/emotional and physical needs of the students in the classroom in order to enhance student learning, promote the overall effectiveness of the school system, and maximize the educational opportunities available to each child.
The teacher will follow the organizational pattern established for the school and create an environment favorable for learning, personal growth and care.
The successful candidate will establish positive working relationships with parents and other staff members.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment as part of a team;
Must be able to perform those duties required of all classroom teachers.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.
- Valid and current Iowa teaching license
- Current endorsement, or ability to obtain conditionally. 140: 5-12 Industrial Technology
