Role Summary:
Straightens and/or replaces damaged parts on bus, van, truck, and automobile bodies. Rivets, welds, and glues replacement panels to buses. Fiberglass repair. Prepares
metal surfaces for painting; mixes and matches urethane and enamels, and does partial/overall painting of buses, vans, trucks, and automobiles. Welds a variety of metals
using gas, electric and MIG/TIG welding equipment. Enters work order data on Keolis computers. Repairs and/or replaces seat frames, floors, and floor coverings. Replace
broken glass, windshields, mirrors, and rubber moldings. Adjust and align doors of buses, vans, trucks, and automobiles. Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Performs other related mechanical duties as assigned.

Core Competencies / Responsibilities
- Repair steel, aluminum and fiberglass body panels with good paint application skills.
- Cosmetic detailing and replace all types of bus seating.
- Replace broken glass, windshields, mirrors, and rubber moldings.
- Polish aluminum Alcoa wheels on Transit Buses
- Record all parts and supplies used on equipment
- Record and track all VOC on AQMD Coating and Solvent Usage Chart – Rule 1151
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area. Performs other related mechanical duties as assigned
- Capable of lifting up-to 75lbs.
- Experienced in general body repairs and Cosmetic detailing.
- Possess Body shop and Mechanic basic tools
- Holds a Commercial Class B with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsement.
- Experience in making estimates due to subrogation claims
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft applications
- Experience using Maintenance Management software to process work orders and charge out parts.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and enthusiasm
