Responsibilities
- Verifies patient identity and records medication information on specified forms or records.
- Presents medication to the patient, observing ingestion or administration, or administers medication as needed.
- Takes vital signs and prepares reports for unexpected reactions.
- Documents reasons for not administering prescribed drugs.
- Provides direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding, as well as assisting with examinations and treatments.
- Receives and manages medication supplies, restocking inventories as necessary.
