What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bistro Supervisor position at Keowee Key Property Owners Association Inc?
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides food and beverage service of the best quality in accordance with the menu.
- Supports Bistro staff with questions and/or service issues.
- Supports management staff as “key holder.” Responsible for employee discounts and discounts resulting from issues with the food service.
- Support Bistro Manager with Scheduling as needed.
- Maintains cleanliness of production, service equipment, storeroom, service and other areas.
- Maintains accurate time records and reports. Assists peers with timekeeping app.
- Ensure that required income control procedures are consistently used.
- Requisitions supply from The Club’s kitchen and storeroom and ensure proper transfer and storage.
- Provides adequate display of garnishes and condiments on “self-serve” basis.
- Ensures compliance with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire and other laws and requirements.
- Inspects the facility to ensure that sanitation, safety, energy management, and other programs are in place in The Bistro.
- Assists with production and service of food and beverage products.
- Prepares garnishes, mixers and pre-mixed drinks.
- Prepares and serves drinks according to recipes.
- Reports complaints to management as soon as they occur. Responds to members as needed.
- Cleans and locks-up according to prescribed procedure.
- Ensures that menu items are portioned in accordance with standard recipes.
- Answers the tee box phone calls in a timely manner.
- Maintains a neat, professional appearance and always observes personal cleanliness rules.
- Ensure that tickets have member numbers and signatures.
