As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Information Technology Support Specialist to join our team and support our technology systems and staff.
Source of Supervision: Information Technology Manager
Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Information Technology Support Specialist to provide on-site technical support for the Keowee Key POA’s technology infrastructure, including desktops, servers, networks, and software applications. This full-time position is based out of our IT office in the Club Building in Salem, SC, and plays a critical role in ensuring seamless operations and excellent customer service for our staff and community members.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on, on-site technical support and troubleshooting for KKPOA staff, including desktop computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Act as the first point of contact for IT help desk requests, resolving basic technical issues and escalating complex problems as needed.
- Maintain and support KKPOA’s technology systems, including network infrastructure, servers, and software applications.
- Ensure excellent customer service by actively listening to user concerns, communicating solutions clearly, and maintaining a positive, professional demeanor.
- Document IT issues, resolutions, and processes in a ticketing system to ensure accurate tracking and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and maintain technology upgrades, security protocols, and system enhancements.
Work Schedule:
Regular hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (on-site).
Rotating remote on-call hours:
Weekdays: Monday – Friday, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (remote).
Weekends and Holidays: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM (remote).
