Job Summary

The Single-Family Residential Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling & coordination of Electrical work, installation and completion for new construction single family homes in the Indianapolis area.

Specific Qualifications

General Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling & coordination of Electrical work for Single Family Homes
  • Maintains and operates company scheduling software
  • Monitors Builders sites
  • Completes administration tasks of:
    • Processing electrical permits
    • Process & requests electrical inspections
    • Processing 811 dig requests
  • Coordinates with Single Family Supervisor to:
    • Coordinate/meet construction/builder schedules/guidelines & expectations.
    • Maintain & meet project schedules & time lines
    • Resolve conflicts & challenges with builder, field/project manpower
    • Evaluate/determine & allocate manpower/workforce & scheduling needs
    • Process needed RFI’s & RFQ
    • Assure all daily inspections are being performed and recorded correctly to meet quality expectations/guidelines.
    • Assure all daily paperwork, software platform updates are being completed per company guidelines.
  • Coordinates & works with field/office/pre-construction team and drawing department to maintain/update/correct field drawings
  • Attends weekly office production meetings
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Implement training processes and best practices that add value and improve business performance
  • Maintain personal knowledge on NEC Code & installed products
    • Work with training team to design and implement new training programs and revise old programs
    • Ensure and maintain safe projects to meet company and OSHA safety guidelines.
    • Other duties as assigned

  • Must have skill level to interpret blueprints/drawings and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
  • Must possess the ability to learn and teach the Company and customer project management systems.


Education, Certification, License, And Skill Requirements

  • Must possess a minimum of two (2) years’ experience or related role.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project).
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of electrical installation practices in the single-family home arena.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the Electrical construction industry.
  • Possess good knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and their application.
  • General knowledge of Electrical Construction process
