Corporate Paralegal

Job Title:  Corporate Paralegal Location: EAST COAST- Remote Hours: 40 hours per week Pay range: $65,000-$85,000 per year commensurate with experience Reports to: Associate Vice President and Assistant General Counsel   Job Summary: Keplr Vision is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Paralegal with 5 years of experience to join our legal department. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive paralegal support on a wide range of legal matters to include communicating with internal and external stakeholders and government agencies, managing and maintaining various legal department document databases, drafting communications, managing the physician contract administrative process, providing litigation support, and providing general administrative support to the attorneys in the legal department.      Primary Job Responsibilities: Review legal documents and brief department attorneys on the contents.   Monitor federal and state laws and regulations. Assist in drafting and maintaining policies and procedures. Comprehensive understanding of the key concepts and legal provisions of corporate vendor contracts and maintaining its database. Manage the physician contract administration process and prepare contracts and contact amendments using templates. Maintain the physician contract database to track contract status, key dates, and renewals. Coordinate the preparation, execution, and delivery of contracts, ensuring that all parties and stakeholders receive drafts and executed copies. Assist with maintenance of entity management files and databases for 300 professional entities including annual filings. Legal research and analysis and prepare memoranda and legal updates for review based on research. Litigation support which includes assistance in managing litigation, organizing and maintaining case files, assisting in-house and outside counsel with responding to discovery requests, and keeping the department’s internal litigation tracker up-to-date.   Support internal investigations and responses to subpoenas or audits.
