**Job Description**
As an Optical Team Member, you will play a critical role in assisting our doctors with patient care and office operations. Your responsibilities will include pre-testing patients for the doctor, gathering patient medical history, answering phone calls, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, educating patients on their insurance coverage and vision benefits, obtaining insurance authorizations and verification of benefits, accurately posting charges for exam fees, co-pays, and products sold, and assisting other members of the team as needed.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
