Instructional Aide I - SpEd - Moderate/Severe SCIA

Under general supervision of the Site Administrator, to perform a variety of supportive instructional activities, as well as behavior management, for students with an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP); and to do other related work as required. Position supports students will mod./severe behavioral and/or attention needs in either a mod./severe or gen. ed. classroom setting. Experience : One year of paid or volunteer experience working with multi-age groups of children. Education : High School Diploma or its equivalent. Completed two years at an institution of higher education or obtained an associate’s or higher degree (or have met a rigorous standard of quality, and can demonstrate through a formal state or local assessment, knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing) Prefer Standard First Aid card

Salary : $22 - $26
