We have immediate FT openings for HVAC Service Technicians in your area.
We are searching for a Service Technician who will be responsible for troubleshooting,
diagnosing, repairing, and maintenance of industrial refrigeration and/or HVAC equipment.
Responsibilities include:
· Diagnose refrigeration and HVAC system performance through observation, testing and
setup as required by trade/position and type/size of equipment to include ice machines,
reach in cooler/freezer, walk in cooler/freezer, make line, cold cases, MAU’s, exhaust
fans and up to 20 Ton Unitarian equipment.
· Proficiently operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment.
· Performs disassembly and reassembly of industrial or commercial refrigeration and/or
HVAC equipment to perform troubleshooting and planned maintenance as indicated in
the service agreement.
· Completes service contracts, quoted projects and demand service calls while maintaining
profitability.
· Develops long-term relationships with customers and explains work performed to the
customer's satisfaction.
· Participates in technician on-call-stand-by rotation as dictated by business unit policies
and procedures.
· Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicles.
· Safely drives a motor vehicle and trailer as evidenced by past driving performance
record.
· Meets requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all company safety
requirements.
· Completes documentation of invoicing data based on hours worked and
materials/equipment used to complete the service.
· Purchases materials and issues purchase order numbers to suppliers. Uses
technology/software to create and modify programming such as graphics, databases,
sequences, etc.
· Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair the following:
-Ice Machines
-Reach-in & Walk-In Coolers
-Reach-In & Walk-In Freezers
-Make Line and Supermarket Cases
· Must be able to read schematics and blueprints.
· Diagnostic ability as demonstrated through prior experience and/or training.
· Performs as a self-managed individual.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 3 years of relevant Commercial Refrigeration experience (Preferred)
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· Two-year technical degree in related field (preferred).
· Must possess required registrations, professional licenses and/or certifications as required
