Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Fleet Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The Fleet Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of our fleet, ensuring efficient scheduling, compliance, maintenance, and operational excellence. This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fleet Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate daily fleet activities, ensuring vehicles are operational and available to meet service demands.
- Maintenance Coordination: Oversee vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, and repairs to minimize downtime and extend fleet longevity.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
- Team Leadership: Manage and train drivers and fleet personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Logistics and Scheduling: Develop efficient routing and scheduling plans to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory of fleet-related supplies, such as fuel, parts, and cleaning materials.
- Reporting and Analytics: Maintain accurate records of fleet performance, costs, and incidents; generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Customer Service: Collaborate with internal teams and clients to address service needs, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fleet management, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of fleet maintenance, repair processes, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in using fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
