We are seeking a Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Manager to oversee and lead our hood cleaning operations. This position is responsible for managing teams of technicians, ensuring compliance with NFPA 96 standards, delivering exceptional service to our clients, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Supervise and support a team of hood cleaning technicians across multiple job sites. Provide hands-on leadership, mentorship, and accountability to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Manage scheduling for routine and emergency kitchen exhaust cleaning services across multiple client sites.
- Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring professionalism, timely communication, and resolution of client issues.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of hood cleaning equipment and processes, ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols.
- Quality Control: Ensure all services are delivered in compliance with NFPA 96 standards and internal SOPs. Review photo documentation and reports for accuracy.
- Reporting & Compliance: Submit detailed service reports, track deficiencies, and ensure corrective actions are taken as needed.
- Inventory & Equipment Management: Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory. Ensure all company assets are in safe working condition and compliant with maintenance schedules.
- Training & Development: Train new team members, reinforcing safe practices and effective cleaning techniques using company-provided equipment and materials.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with operations, HR, and safety departments to support recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and adherence to safety policies.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial cleaning or maintenance with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of hood cleaning/kitchen exhaust systems preferred (NFPA 96 compliance).
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Flexible to work nights, early mornings, and occasional weekends.
- Excellent troubleshooting, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in mobile apps and reporting tools (training provided).
- Physically able to lift 50–70 lbs and work in demanding environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on leadership, customer service, and team collaboration.
- Must pass a background check and MVR screening.
