We currently have an opportunity for a full-time Lead Maintenance Technician. This position will provide preventative maintenance and on-call repairs for all rolling equipment, such as shopping cars within the retail, wholesale, and grocery industries. The Lead Maintenance Technician is critical in delivering the Company's high-quality customer service. This person is responsible for preventative maintenance, repair requests, and diagnosing problems with rolling equipment. This person will also oversee the work site and deliver on customer satisfaction and productivity objectives. We are searching for a team-player who will be energetic and innovative in this position. Responsibilities:
Strong leadership skills, outgoing personality, and a self-starter.
Supervise technician(s) on-site and monitor for efficient maintenance work schedule.
Manage all on-site installations, repairs, maintenance, and tests tasks.
Be the primary customer interface while on-site, exhibiting courtesy, professionalism andensuring customer issues are addressed.
Diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions.
Utilize mobile technology applications to complete service tickets, monitor timekeeping, submit reports, and manage expenses.
Produce timely and detailed service reports.
Maintain an organized warehouse, take physical inventory, and keep accurate inventory counts.
Keep vehicle, tools, and equipment organized and properly maintained.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
Must be able to lift at least 50-70 lbs.
Welding experience (required).
Previous supervisory experience (required).
Must practice personal and environmental safety on the job using protective equipment.
Must have time management skills.
Must be available to night shifts and adapt to work schedules.
