Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all machinery and facility equipment remain in safe, reliable, and optimal working condition. This role includes performing scheduled maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting general manufacturing operations as needed. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on all facility equipment and machinery, including forklifts.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and implement solutions to prevent equipment failures.
- Conduct weekly and monthly inspections of fire safety systems per fire department guidelines.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for machinery and equipment.
- Assist with setup and configuration of equipment, including blade assemblies for grooving operations.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as panel saws, glue presses, sanders, table saws, groovers, and forklifts.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with team members to ensure safe and accurate work execution.
- Follow all company safety protocols, policies, and procedures as instructed or trained.
- Support other departments in manufacturing processes as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical and mechanical background with experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance.
- Proficient in using power tools and diagnostic instruments.
- Experience working with electrical systems (120V/240V AC).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take corrective action independently.
- Comfortable operating or learning to operate computer-based systems.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Work Environment
- Regular exposure to dust, fumes, and airborne particles.
- Frequent work near moving mechanical equipment.
- Occasional exposure to electrical hazards and vibration.
- Noise Level: Moderate to Loud.
