Job Title: Cabinet Makers (Multiple Positions – Entry-Level to Experienced)

Location: Kerfside Custom Cabinets, Richland Hills, TX

Position Type: Full-Time

Starting Hourly Wage: $20/hr – $x/hr (based on experience)

Job Summary:

Due to continual growth, we’re hiring for multiple Cabinet Maker positions, ranging from entry-level to experienced. Whether you're new to cabinet making or you're a seasoned pro, we’re looking for individuals who thrive in a collaborative, high-energy environment and bring their positive attitude, accountability, and professionalism to every project. With pay starting at $20/hr to $x/hr (depending on experience), this is an opportunity for growth, skill development, and a whole lot of fun along the way.

Open Positions:

• Entry-Level Cabinet Maker You’re just starting out, and we’re excited to help you grow! We’ll provide hands-on training to help you build your skills. If you're eager to learn, have a great attitude, and enjoy being part of a team, this is a perfect fit.

• Mid-Level Cabinet Maker You’ve got some experience under your belt and you’re ready to take on more responsibility. You’re capable of working independently on certain tasks, but you’ll also be part of a fun and energetic team that loves to collaborate. If you're accountable and results-driven, this could be your next big opportunity.

• Experienced Cabinet Maker You’ve been honing your craft for years, and now you're looking for a place to lead, mentor, and really make an impact. As an experienced cabinet maker, you'll get to take on more complex projects, help mentor less experienced team members, and ensure every cabinet that leaves the shop is top-notch. If you’re competitive, professional, and enjoy a fast-paced environment, this position is made for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft and assemble custom cabinetry with precision and attention to detail.

• Use woodworking tools and machinery like saws, drills, and sanders to cut, shape, and finish materials.

• Work collaboratively with your team to meet project deadlines and ensure top-quality results.

• Take ownership of your work—be accountable for the quality and timeliness of your projects.

• Install hardware (hinges, handles, drawer slides) and ensure the functionality of each piece.

• Stay cool under pressure when the pace picks up—we’re all about working hard but having fun while doing it.

• Contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring that every piece meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

• Embrace a continuous improvement mindset—our team is dedicated to continually improve processes, and reduce work stoppages and errors to keep the assembly line moving as well as create an organized and fulfilling work environment for everyone in the team to succeed in their role.

• Adapt to using technology in our paperless shop—you’ll be comfortable using software tools for tracking progress, updating jobs, and communicating with the team.

Qualifications:

• Entry-Level: No experience required—just bring your positive attitude, a desire to learn, and a team-first mentality!

• Mid-Level: Some experience in cabinetry or woodworking is preferred. You’re ready to take on more independent tasks but still thrive in a collaborative environment.

• Experienced: Several years of experience in custom cabinetry or woodworking. You’ve got the skills to take on complex projects and mentor others while keeping the work fun and engaging.

• All Positions: You must be accountable, professional, and have a natural drive to make customers happy.

• You can take feedback and use it to improve your craft (being teachable is key to success here!).

• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can still keep a smile on your face when things get tough.

• A competitive spirit—you love to challenge yourself and push the limits of your craft.

• Ability to use hand and power tools (training provided for entry-level positions).

• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints (for mid-level and experienced positions).

• Comfort and ease with using technology in our paperless shop for project tracking and communication.

Additional Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Basic computer skills to work with our software tools in a paperless shop environment.

• Reliable transportation to commute to the shop.

• Ability to lift & carry items up to 75 lbs.

• Able to constantly move the whole body to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, carrying, pushing, pulling, and handling materials.

• Ability to operate equipment safely and follow all safety procedures.

• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods during the workday.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in custom cabinetry, fine woodworking, or carpentry.

• Knowledge of advanced woodworking techniques (for experienced candidates).

• Familiarity with CNC machinery or woodworking software (for advanced positions).

• A strong sense of professionalism and customer service—we want to impress our clients every time!
