Job Description :
The Company is seeking a qualified Vice President of Finance / Divisional Director of Accounting / Corporate Controller interested in career progression with an established diverse investment operating company headquartered in the Southeast. Applicant should have a minimum of 8-10 years of public accounting experience, with investment and real estate experience.
The Vice President of Finance / Corporate Controller / Divisional Director of Accounting will have responsibility for all accounting functions of the company, including but not limited to responsibility for the accurate and timely preparation and distribution of internal and external financial statements, project budgets, monthly project reports, job costing and pro forma, and financial asset and cash management for all projects. Additionally, this position is responsible for reviewing and developing company accounting policies and procedures and maintaining an effective system of internal accounting controls. Other responsibilities will include working with the company’s independent accountants in preparation of tax returns and have primary responsibility for the effective use and development of accounting software solutions. The position is an important part of the company’s management team and will be expected to provide strategic leadership and coordination in the areas of financial planning, financing, insurance and risk management, and budget management decisions.

- Working knowledge of budgeting and recording of Real Estate Operating Expenses and producing Year End Expense Statements and resulting Reimbursements and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms such as Word and Excel.
- Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager
- Knowledge of Argus Investment Analysis and Vena Solutions (or similar) both a plus.
