What are the responsibilities and job description for the CSIS Field Support Specialist (This position is located in Sacramento, CA) position at Kern County Superintendent of Schools?
Under general supervision, the Field Support Specialist provides training and support to Local Education Agencies (LEAs) for the CSIS Program;
assist in the development of data management best practices for local use by LEAs, and participate in the ongoing process of creating and maintaining training material associated with work undertaken by the CSIS Program;
this position may involve travel within California. •Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university required. Work experience resulting in an equivalent knowledge base may be substituted for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
•Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in client support/training function, student information systems operations or data policy analysis. Experience working with student information systems preferred.
