Salary:
Level I: $3,046.12 - $3,640.40 , paid bi-weekly
Level II: $3,502.65 - $4,185.99 , paid bi-weekly
Level III: $4,047.76 - $4,837.45 , paid bi-weekly
Level IV: $5,015.96 - $5,994.54 , paid bi-weekly
Examinations:
Appraisal (Weight 100%): Will be conducted for the purpose of evaluating the applicant's training, education, experience, interest and personal fitness for the position. Appraisal can be based on any combination of the following: Investigation, oral examination and/or rating of the application.
Applicants must attain at least a 70% score on each phase of the examination process.

Minimum Qualifications / Employment Standards
Level I: Must be licensed by the California State Bar.
Level II: Must have one year of experience in the practice of law.
Level III: Must have two years of experience as a practicing attorney in family and/or civil law.
Level IV: Must have three years of experience as a practicing attorney in family and/or civil law.
Level II: Must have one year of experience in the practice of law.
Level III: Must have two years of experience as a practicing attorney in family and/or civil law.
Level IV: Must have three years of experience as a practicing attorney in family and/or civil law.
Additional Requirement for All Levels:
Applicants must be licensed by the California State Bar; have the ability to travel to locations outside of the regular office to perform necessary legal services; have knowledge of the principals of law, trial procedure, and their application, including California Welfare and Institutions Code, Family Code, Civil Code, Code of Civil Procedure, Probate Code, Evidence Code, and Rules of Court; knowledge of legal research methods; ability to present statements of fact, law, and argument clearly and logically; ability to maintain effective working relationships with others; knowledge of basic computer applications.
