Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, as well as excellent patient service skills. The Medical Assistant will work closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure efficient clinic operations and optimal patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
- Provide education to patients regarding treatment plans and medication instructions.
- Support the healthcare team in various administrative tasks as needed.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in patient care effectively.
- Experience working in outpatient, inpatient, or urgent care settings is preferred.
- Excellent patient service skills to foster positive relationships with patients of all ages, including geriatrics.
- Familiarity with internal medicine practices is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $21.00 per hour
