Industrial Maintenance Technician
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team at Kern-Liebers USA.
About the Role:
This position involves planning, fabricating, and installing new wiring, fixtures, equipment, and building systems. Additionally, you will maintain, repair, and/or rebuild complex machinery and equipment, including troubleshooting and problem-solving of electronic and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, fabricate, and install new wiring, fixtures, equipment, and building systems
- Maintain, repair, and/or rebuild complex machinery and equipment, including troubleshooting and problem-solving of electronic and mechanical systems
- Organize spare parts and notify the manager when supplies/parts are running low
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A certified apprenticeship program in an appropriate field, plus 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance operations after the apprenticeship, or
- Appropriate vocational training and industrial experience, with at least 4 years performing industrial maintenance functions
- The ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack
- Excellent physical stamina, as you must be able to stand, walk, and bend for most of the shift
- The commitment to follow all policies regarding environmental health and safety while striving towards minimizing energy and material use
Work Schedule:
This is a union position for our day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
