Position Details
The ER nurse manager assumes responsibilities in managing the operation and function of the nursing unit/department. Promotes the delivery of high-quality patient care based on utilization of the nursing process and standards. Provides an environment conducive to staff growth and development. Is accountable for management of human, fiscal, and other nursing resources. Supports the values and goals of the Chief Nursing Officer and administrative leadership of the district. Works under the general direction of the ER Medical Director and the Chief Nursing Officer.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred), 3 years of emergency nursing experience, ACLS, PALS, BLS required, TNC, NIHSS, MICN and other ER related accreditations preferred (not required), Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and holds a current California licensure as a registered nurse, Experience as a staff nurse and manager, Proficient with Electronic Medical Record documentation, Possesses good oral and written communication skills, Demonstrates interpersonal relationships in a manner which enhances communication, promotes conflict resolution and facilitates staff development.
Salary : $60 - $78
