Title: Materials Management Assistant
Location: Salem, OR
Reports to: Materials Manager
Workplace Type: Onsite
The primary function of the Material Management Specialist is executing SAP production confirmations and supporting the Materials Manager, Inbound Logistics Coordinator, and Inventory Analyst with inventory management and inbound scheduling.
Your role will be:
- Verify, balance, and confirm into SAP finished production daily
- Manage communication with the production team regarding inventory usage and finished products
- Process inventory moves from Americold to the facility
- Keep Inventory Analyst advised of spoilage, spills, inventory discrepancies
- Help in research of inconsistencies in inventory and production reports
- Assist with daily inventory delivery tickets from cold storage vendors
- Complete necessary inventory adjustments/corrections
- Reconcile tickets to invoices for accuracy, scan documents and any additional documentation
- Scan documentation and prepare compliance documentation
- Assist with month-end closing
- Support the Demand Planner as needed
- Back up Inventory Analyst, Inbound Logistics, and Material Manager when needed
Your profile needs these qualifications:
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- 3 to 6 months related experience a plus
- Ability to write professional correspondence
- Ability to apply concepts of introductory algebra
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English
Required behaviors and skills:
- Knowledge of SAP and i-3PL a plus
- Regularly identify areas for improvement and constructively propose new solutions that increase value and improve business performance.

$50,000.00-$66,666.67 AnnualThis pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
